Every year I'm amazed at the change that occurs so quickly in the month of May, but I never think to take pictures of the before and after - I guess because you never know when it's going to be the last snow. Well, anyway I dug around and found a few that could be considered "before" photos, and then took some in the same spots for "after" photos. Note the dates.

Crazy huh? And then if you compare the recent photos on Kimberlee's blog to these, there's another amazing difference...I think she's about 300 miles from us (is that about right Kim?)

I agree it is pretty amazing. Hard to believe it can go from white to green in just a month. I guess when your summer months are cut short by South standards you have to green up in a hurry.
I love those side-by-side comparison photos. It really illustrates the difference more clearly than generic winter/spring photos of different scenes would.
I'll have to do that on my blog at some point...if things ever turn green! It's snowed just about every day this week. :)

Yeah, I was able to get on and read some of your blog. I watched Littie's recital - wow she's doing great! I love the pictures. I'm so impressed with your ability to manipulate technology. I can barely get pictures from my camera to the computer (right now, my camera is not even working - have suggestions on brand and type for a new one?). Sherri
