Well, the blogspot is a huge success with our family. We enjoy seeing all the BIG events (like recitals) as well as the daily happenings in each of your families. But it's got me feeling a bit homesick, so I'm posting some of my favorite spring pictures from home. These are from last spring, 2007.

The Japanese Red Maple in the front yard. Gorgeous!

The Azalea bushes are still huge.

These are from the Griggs front yard.

I love the color of these Azaleas in front of Floyd and Mattie's old house.

I don't know what these are called but they sure look pretty along the side of the fields.

OK, this doesn't fit with the flower motif but it will always be one of my favorite pictures from Louisiana. My pioneer husband, with chainsaw in hand, fearlessly clearing our land.

Rainy season has started early this year and that always reminds me of home too. I love you and miss you all! April
P.S. Sorry for the spacing. I just can't get it right this time. I'm going to post the boys' Youtube link on the side with the other links so you can see their lego videos if you want.

April,
I love all the color and greenery in spring time too. But the picture of Jim is too good to past up. :) It brings to mind Jeff Foxworthy...you might be a red neck if you trim your trees from the bucket of a tractor. :)
Hey Rose Mary, I was on the phone with Jackie trying to get her help to remove the extra space in my last post and I saw your comment pop up. Jackie and I got to laugh together over that one! What a hoot! I can't wait until Jim reads it! You may notice the post is still pretty spacy. We can't figure it out. I'm sure I could come up with some kind of joke about two "airheads" trying to get the "space" out if I thought hard enough. :) Love ya, April
I did it! I did it! I did it!
I got the space out. April
How did you finally do it???
I'm with Jackie...how did you do it? What was causing all the spacing problems.
