The Water Park and Other Adventures!

Luke and Daniel were not real excited about our trip to the orphanage with the visitors from Texas, but they did enjoy going to the water park with them. This was a pretty fun water park squeezed into a small area. You can see about 1/3 of the entire park in this picture.

Luke is on the right slide and Dan's on the left.

Luke enjoyed the Zipline.

We also went up to Dalat with the team from Texas. Dalat is a beautiful mountain city about 8 hours north of Saigon. This picture overlooks the Valley of Love!
We went to a waterfall that has a "slide" you can ride to the bottom and the back up. It's like a tame rollercoaster going down through the jungle. We were very happy that they just added seat belts to the cars. I won't mention the injuries people received before this safety feature was added.

The waterfall at the bottom was nice and clear. Then suddenly, the water changed color and rose several inches. Our guide said there was a flash flood up stream. Most likely a flood gate was opened because the change happened so fast.

It was soooo peaceful up in the mountains, away from the city!
