Happy Birthday (the mild version)

"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to..."
Actually, she did much better than ever before...no tears, just a little hiding behind mom's sweater. Listen carefully at the beginning - she tells us how she wants us to sing the song.

Yay! Go, Mary! Love the video of her momentous triumph of NOT crying during the birthday song. Do you plan to add some still photos as well...at some point? (the correct answer would be, "why, yes").

Well, this is my first time to edit video...we recorded the whole party and I tried to cut out some dead space by cutting it into the 3 segments you see. I can also take still photos from the video, but haven't tried yet...downloading the 200mb of video took several hours in itself. I can also take still photos with this camera, but I need a memory card. Eventually I'll get it all together :)

Hey! When I first viewed (and commented on) the birthday song video, that was the only one that I could see. I didn't know there were more!

What program are you using to edit your video? I need something like that.

The additional videos were really cute. It looks like EVERYBODY enjoyed Mary's birthday. :) Did you keep Tim out of the wagon???? :)

Yeah, I believe you commented just moments after I finished uploading the first video. I could have waited until I was finished to publish, but I wasn't sure if I'd even finish in one sitting.

I used the program that came with my Handycam - the only name I could find is Sony Picture Utility. I really do like it though...not just for the editing, but also because it handles the pictures I load onto the computer better (it recognizes picture that have been previously downloaded and doesn't do it again - so if I have old pics on my camera, I don't load them a second time)

We did all enjoy her party...and so far so good with keeping Tim out of the wagon...but watch out - summmer's on the way...that paved driveway will be clear and who knows then :)
