We've had a pretty good summer so far. Douglas was here for Father's Day and Cader's birthday this year - which was really nice.
Cader didn't have the traditional birthday party this year. He invited a couple of good friends to spend the day with him having fun. First - they went to see the new Madagascar III movie. Second - pizza at Cici's. Then, they play games at Chuck E. Cheese. Lots of fun there!!!
The boy with the cap is Jude. (Who carpools with us.) And the other one is Will. (Who Cader has been friends with since they were babies.) We ended the day cooling off at Dairy Queen!
Then ... Douglas had his knees replaced on June 29th.
Cader has done a lot more than Douglas and myself. Swimming lesson for 4 weeks developing strokes (and confidence). He spent a couple of days with my friends, Gayla and Doug Verzwyvelt, at their farm. He helped move inflatable irrigation pipe and drive huge tractors. Their son and daughter-in-law took him out boating a couple of times too. And he spent a few days with Will and his family swimming, watching TV, playing computer games and staying out of the heat if possible (heat index of 105 or more). Cader likes to ride his bike, but he had to talk Will into facing the heat to do it. : )
Hope this comes out okay. We'll keep you updated with more pics later. This takes so much time to load! Enjoy! Love ya'll, Rm
