Visiting Santa's House

Grandma brought the youngest grandkids to visit Santa. After waiting several hours (they had to take a number), their turn finally came, but they were all too shy to talk to him. Oh well, Mary still got the chapstick she planned to ask him for, and Cader didn't have any requests anyway.

This is a wall for letters to Santa.
They made a new friend while waiting.

Beautiful pictures! I don't think our boys have ever had a picture with Santa, at least not that I can remember. Luke was always a bit "phobic" about puppets and clowns and anyone dressed-up in a costume. I can't believe how long you had to wait! Way to go Grandma! Every now and then we see a Santa riding on the back of someone's motorcycle, but they aren't quite as plump as your Santa at the North Pole. I guess fish and rice isn't quite as filling as whale blubber and caribou stew.

We love you all! April, for the Owen Family
